Key Features & Benefits
- Clinically Proven Colic Management in 24 Hours: Decades of clinical evidence showing rapid colic relief in infants with cow's milk protein allergy — the most studied hypoallergenic formula on the market.
- Probiotic LGG® for Accelerated Tolerance: LGG has been shown to help infants develop tolerance to cow's milk protein significantly faster — getting babies back to a standard formula sooner.
- Extensively Hydrolyzed Casein Protein: Milk proteins broken into tiny fragments clinically unlikely to cause an allergic reaction — without going fully elemental, keeping costs lower than amino acid formulas.
- Cost-Effective Powder Format: Significantly more economical per feeding than ready-to-feed formats — ideal for families managing ongoing CMPA long-term.
- Iron-Fortified & Nutritionally Complete: All essential nutrients for healthy infant development from 0–12 months including iron, DHA, ARA, and key vitamins and minerals.

What is the difference between Nutramigen and Nutramigen with LGG?
The LGG version adds the probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, which clinical studies show helps infants develop tolerance to cow's milk protein faster — meaning babies may graduate to standard formula sooner than with Nutramigen alone.
Is Nutramigen powder the same as Nutramigen RTF?
Both contain the same extensively hydrolyzed casein protein and LGG probiotic. The powder is more economical per feeding. RTF is pre-mixed for convenience but costs more per ounce — best for newborns, travel, or high-demand feeding schedules.
Can I use Nutramigen if my baby has been diagnosed with FPIES?
Nutramigen is extensively hydrolyzed, not elemental, so it may not be appropriate for all FPIES cases. Many FPIES infants require a fully amino acid-based formula like Enfamil PurAmino or EleCare. Always follow your pediatric GI specialist's specific recommendation.
